Overview

The world today revolves around computers.  People must have “at least” a basic knowledge of a computer, and many careers require more.  The general population’s overall knowledge of computers and their functionality is very low and from my experience based on intimidation.  When I first started working on computers as a child, I was very intimidated by the computer.  When I didn’t know how to do something, it could take me hours to figure it out.  Many times I would quit what I was doing and try again later. Then I would realize that the answer was right in front of my face.

This is a horrible waste of such a beautiful technology.  Computers are built to make our lives easy, and they do just that!  We make them difficult.  The majority of tasks that are performed on a computer are laid out in plain English but novice users tend to assume things are going to be difficult. 

I train individuals to understand a computer for what it is.  I help users understand how the computer works and why it works that way. This allows me to show students how to find answers to most questions without even have ask.
